Nicely sporty and stylish to boot, the Timex T71291 Tween quartz analog watch is a great match for your constantly on-the-go youngster. It features a wide, oval-shaped resin watch case in silver and metallic blue that frames a black dial background with full Arabic numeral display, gray hands (with seconds hand), small minute indexes, and a unique dial pattern that illuminates when the Indiglo function is activated. It also offers water resistance to 30 meters (100 feet), date display at 3 o'clock, and a durable nylon Fast Wrap strap (with Velcro fastener) in black with white texturing.

My son really likes this watch. My only criticism is that the date is difficult to read because the numbers are small. Thus far it is holding up well.
My son loves it
It's a solid watch that your kid will have a hard time breaking. My boy went through several less expensive hero based watches before I got sick of seeing them end up broken and in the trash. After a decent amount of looking and comparing, I decided to make this one his next watch. He LOVES it! He can take it swimming, it's band is velcro based and so will always fit him, and the indiglo back light always puts a smile on his face. He has had it for over a month now and will still thank me for it and tell me something he has done that involved his watch. The backing Timex puts out with it is what initially made it okay to buy, but now I would buy it even with out the guarantee. Absolutely no regrets and well worth every penny!
